White cherries

Thing is, they don't really look real.

Until, that is, you take a bite.

First day of summer.

That whole photo looks "unreal." Very tranquil in a bleached-out sort of way...and then you hit that shadow. Adore it and all those sweet little pips in the bowl.

So ephemeral, but even better because of that! Gotta love the cherries!

Beautiful! It makes me want to dive into the bowl.

Just as I'm anticipating winter, you make me long for spring. Gorgeous!

Cherries are one of the joys of summer - I prefer the dark ones but your photo does make the white ones seem appetixing!

I LOVE CHERRIES! Pretty cherries, Lucy.

Even the unreal looking ones ;-)

The best cherries I ever had were Rainer cherries from Seattle. Man, they were good. Big, sweet and juicy...

White cherries? Gotta get some. I just finished 2kg of cherries. Most of it went to a pie (will blog about it soon). But I ate them everyday too. Such beautiful fruits. A gift from heaven indeed.

Did you know that in French these are called Napoleon cherries? They make beautiful jam.

Nothing like a "bowl full of cherries"! The photo says it all!
