Celery

Dripping wet.

Again. Or should that be still?

Celery for croquettes made of vegetables, wild rice, quinoa and amaranth.

Hi Lucy,

Thank you for leaving me a comment! Yes, the watermelon/feta salad is proof indeed, that sometimes risks do pay off!
I am greatly enjoying going through your blog as well; I am going to try out your Andean potato stew right away! (Assuming, of course, that's ok...;) )

Stunning photo yet again.

Celery looks good! Do you wrap yours? I am growing my first batch this year! There is a lovely smell from it! Well I love it, don't know if my partner Graham would agree! I am crossing my fingers for it tasting good!

Hi ink in my veins, you are very welcome and by all means, get started on that Andean stew right away!

I do too Wendy - even got caught doing so at the organic grocer a few weeks ago.

I do wrap it Holler, tightly in an old tea towel. Does smell gorgeous!

Lovely, lovely light.

Wet? I assume it's still raining in Melbourne? So glad you are featuring celery. It tends to be relegated to holding cheese spreads or getting pureed into soups.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't Amanda!

Still raining even this morning Susan. Bucketed down overnight. The farmers must be out in the streets dancing! Celery and wild rice are fantastic together - grassy and very earthy.

With the wild rice is does sound like a good combo, Lucy.

I am pleased it is raining for the farmers but wish it could just hold off when I am on my bike! Love the sound of your patties!

Wild rice smells heavenly when it's cooking, Cynthia!

I have to say that I'm with you Johanna - Shula at Poppalina a week or two ago said that she was dying of grey. Me too...but happy for the garden and the farmers.
