I've discovered the most wonderful stall at the market - he even sells fresh truffles! Living in such a gloriously beautiful part of the world as you do (am very jealous at times!), you have access to equally beautiful ingredients that make me drool.

It's great to live vicariously through each others food this way!Lucyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05524429760235996360noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24700217.post-29533098245439113622007-05-21T01:14:00.000+09:302007-05-21T01:14:00.000+09:30Hi Lucy, the few times I've eaten mushrooms, I've ...Hi Lucy, the few times I've eaten mushrooms, I've loved it. I just wish that we grew it here or had more access to it. All of our mushrooms are imported and we do not get a variety. Also, becasue they are imported, they are pretty pricey.

Can't wait to see what you make with those.Cynthiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01565340772467109199noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24700217.post-45291876360430231552007-05-20T21:50:00.000+09:302007-05-20T21:50:00.000+09:30What a stunning photo! They actually look poisonous and very alien-like!

Susan, they kind of taste like, well, nothing. My palate isn't quite refined enough to be able to discern a particular flavour, but they do have a sort-of crunch. Look good though.

Hi Rose - they are indeed tiny enough to eat whole. As a last second addition to a stir-fry, they are a very pretty thing. Though weird, like Joanna says!Lucyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05524429760235996360noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24700217.post-11110937797536066952007-05-19T02:28:00.000+09:302007-05-19T02:28:00.000+09:30Do you eat them whole?Do you eat them whole?Wardahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13682390924316164553noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24700217.post-63517925381310428132007-05-18T20:12:00.000+09:302007-05-18T20:12:00.000+09:30Can't wait to learn the recipe.
