Roasted like this they develop a sticky but savoury caramel surface. It's about the closest thing I've found to those bits that stick to the bottom of the tray when you roast a chook! My food find of the year (so far). <BR/><BR/>Soup often feels good, regardless of the season, doesn't it? Seems as though our hot days have finally given way to cooler days and nights.
